LED & Battery Information

WATER-ACTIVATED BLINKING LED
The built-in LED automatically begins blinking when the Dirty Bomb enters the water.

DEADMAN SWITCH TECHNOLOGY
In water ON. Out of water OFF. Remove the Dirty Bomb from the water and the LED automatically shuts off.

BATTERY LIFE
Built for a weekend on the water. Under normal fishing conditions, the Dirty Bomb’s built-in battery is designed to provide approximately 2–3 days of use. Deadman Switch Technology helps preserve battery life by automatically shutting the LED off when the lure is removed from the water.

SEALED LED & BATTERY
The LED and battery are permanently sealed inside the Dirty Bomb Spoon with epoxy behind the perch eye. The LED and battery are not replaceable or interchangeable.

Care & Maintenance

KEEP CONTACTS CLEAN & DRY
The two contact probes on the back of the Dirty Bomb Spoon activate the LED when they contact water. Keep these probes clean and free of dirt, residue and corrosion for reliable activation.

AFTER EACH USE
Wipe the spoon and contact probes thoroughly with a clean, dry towel. After use in saltwater, rinse with fresh water before drying.

DRY BEFORE STORAGE
Allow the Dirty Bomb to dry completely before returning it to your tackle box. Moisture left across the contact probes can cause the LED to remain active and shorten battery life.

STORE DRY
For best performance and battery life, store the Dirty Bomb in a clean, dry location between fishing trips.
