FishDaddy was founded in 2017 by a lifelong fisherman (and active duty police officer) from the metro Twin Cities of Minnesota, the Land of 10,000+ Lakes. After discovering research proving that fish were attracted to underwater light, he created, tested, and perfected several new illuminated lures utilizing LEDs and other glow and sensory technologies. FishDaddy’s signature MicroLED Spoon and Dirty Bomb product lines were soon introduced to the ice fishing industry, and continual improvements have been made to enhance their design, durability, and effectiveness in both hard and open water. A father of 3, our founder, the “Original FishDaddy”, remains inspired by teaching his children and others the art and joy of fishing.


The FishDaddy brand name represents any avid angler who understands and appreciates the sport of fishing, and is passionate about embracing the latest in technology and technique to enhance the overall fishing experience. A FishDaddy grasps any opportunity to teach others how to fish, and how to be successful at it.  


Illumination and other technologies continue to evolve, producing new and exciting ideas and applications for the fishing industry. Biodegradable silicone and taste technologies were used in creating FishDaddy’s new Soft Lure lines, yielding products that are not only environmentally friendly but also more lifelike and durable, increasing their fish-catching potential. We’ve also employed new glow/sparkle and no-chip paint technologies which have enhanced our lures’ effectiveness, durability and overall quality. What is your return policy?

Our policy lasts 30 days.  If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund, first check your bank account again.Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@fishdaddyoutdoors.com.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable).  We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

To return your product, you should mail your product to: P.O. Box 344 Excelsior Minnesota US 5533.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
